BEEHIVE Co-working Spaces: 24/7 Access, All-Inclusive Amenities, and Urban Locations

Pros: good price for day pass. Great location. Cons: UX is bad. Please fix it. 1. Many tables’ electric outlets are NOT working 1. Internet is very slow in phone booth 1. Lights kept going off when I was in another area working ( trying to charge my laptop because the #1 list above)

I would like to share my experience at Beehive in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and customer-unfriendly behavior of the staff, especially the store manager. The manager even became personal, which is not how one should treat customers and guests. The rooms were not ventilated and lacked air conditioning. The air inside the rooms was extremely stuffy, and instead of offering us a proper solution, we were directed to ridiculous laminated notes that were sporadically scattered around the space. This was completely inadequate. Additionally, there were ongoing construction works in the space during my visit, making it impossible to carry out my work effectively. Making phone calls and having serious conversations was inconceivable. It is disappointing that this information was not communicated on the website prior to booking. I strongly advise against booking a room or slot at Beehive if you are looking for a reliable and professional co-working space. Although the concept itself seems promising, the execution is catastrophic, and the management is poor. Furthermore, the manager's behavior was highly unprofessional. I apologize for having to leave such a negative review, but I hope it helps others make an informed decision.

Nice co-working office with an open area and also smaller meeting rooms and phone booths. Some small improvements could be done, but otherwise a great choice.

I spent one day in this office space: Pros: * Space: Brand new with beautiful and cozy rooms and furniture. * Location: Very central, walking distance to HBF. Lots of eateries and supermarkets around. * Price: Pricing seems good and affordable to me. Daily passes possible from 11 Euros. * Open: 24 hours, no reception, you can freely enter into the space anytime. Contra / improvement suggestions: * No Guests policy: If you want to meet with someone external to the coworking space you can only do so by buying the person a daily pass (11 Euro) or booking a room (94 Euro). I have never experienced such a policy in any other co-working space neither in Germany nor elsewhere. Business is done between people and I don't want to book a meeting room for 4 hours for e.g. an informal quick business chat over a coffee. Also I did not find the way I was informed about it professional at all, being interrupted during a short 20 min. meeting I was having, as I had never been informed about such a non-standard policy beforehand. * Smell: The space is new thus the materials are breathing a lot of plastic/other substances, thus the smell is not very comfortable. The space would need some fresh air from outside for a couple of months to better. * Heat: There were 26 degrees yesterday and it already was quite hot inside. I have heard it was even hotter in the summer. Air conditioning should be improved. * Wifi outages: I was there 10 hours and 2 wifi outages took place (but where automatically fixed within 4-5 minutes) * Printer does not work: The printer was not discoverable and did not work. I would really like to use this working space regularly and would love to see these improvement suggestions implemented!
