My company was convinced WeWork Business Partner since the early stages of 2018. Until mid-2024, WeWork offered the most professional upmarket offices and office services globally. High-quality of furnitures of high-end brands, such as e. g. New Tendency, is the equipment standard of all its global office buildings. Every building is tailored equipped or even built, additionally matching local influences and culture. Digital technology was also a masterpiece and strategic asset of WeWork, especially when dealing with strict corporate clients and technologically demanding contracts. In 2024, WeWork constantly became a more and more abusive company. Multiple contract violations in both the years of 2022 and 2023 are still not cleared and regulated. Also, I cancelled our contract end of December 2023 for January 2024, yet the company is proclaiming our contract is valid until the End of November 2024. Since July 2024, they applied – also without my agreement and without working through my complaint – an increase in prices by excluding contractually guaranteed services. In the last months, WeWork was also accessing my business bank account multiple times and (trying or succeeding) charging additional money for the WeWork contract upfront – without any agreements or announcements of reasonable behaviour. It’s obviously badly managed from the HQ in New York (the global or local board of directors), the company is only remotely and ticket-based operated. The local team of Warschauer Platz has no responsibilities in it, which is important to say and add. Locally, they're always kind and helpful.

It's a nice place to work. There are a lot of opportunities to be sitting and working quietly. Very friendly service. Taking into consideration the location of the weWork it's probably one of the best places to work at Warshauerstr. Also there is awesome coffee available at the entrance 🥰

Been a WeWork Berlin member off and on for many years and this has got to be the best location so far. Cool layout and lots of areas to sit in even with the all access/hot desk membership. Friendly but impersonal staff, free barista coffee several hours each day, free beer from the tap two hours a day, a huge roof terrace with a unique view of eastern Berlin. However, very little interaction between coworkers and very few events for networking. I do not see sufficient added value between a café and WeWork worth paying the expensive monthly membership fee.

The location is fab, the staff is great, the amenities are phenomenal. We have the entire floor and WeWork are servicing us and it’s been great, so far! I can’t speak for the rest of the building, but our move was super smooth. An added bonus is that WeWork itself has a lot of socialization events which is also great! :)

A company like WeWork should help build your dreams. That was one of it's founding principles a decade ago. I am WeWork member since 2018, with little interruption of a couple of weeks in 2021 due to health reasons. WeWork changed, from community and identification to capitalism. Since end of 2021 I experience repeating issues with technology that the office space company provides: In most of the areas of WeWork Warschauer Platz cellular network does not work – which means you can't call a client, or receive client's calls. Month after month I heard that this will be fixed soon. One year later it is not fixed. And in the small areas of the massive building, where cellular works, music is too loud and the spaces are overcrowded, you don't have privacy for confidential business talks and calls. In your dedicated desk space area it is in general not allowed and possible to make calls, meetings, etc. also. Also, since months, WeWork has repeating issues with its printers, they charge prints, that were never printed, printers create printing or scan errors, or printers just delete your entire queue of documents and give you the status, that your prints were printed. I opened a massive amount of support tickets every time, but no one came back to me on this. But I got disciplined by the community leadership team, how I should behave and how I must stick to WeWork corporate values – as a paying customer with a valid business service contract. I experienced these technical issues across several offices already, it wasted a lot if time on my side as the prints are fundamental part of my work. The local WeWork people are nice and try their best, but they do not have influence within the company. The company is fully managed by e-mail, even the membership teams repeatedly asked me to open a support ticket myself, as the impact will be the same. Marcus Podorf
