We have been in Mindspace since the beginning of May. We have never felt so comfortable in an office space. The two heads of the office, Constantin, but also Silas, create an oasis of well-being that is not available in any other coworking space in Düsseldorf. Service, quality of the facility, the events - everything is perfect.

Caution! We signed a contract with mindspace at the beginning of February last year. It was about the headquarters of two corporations in Düsseldorf and Amsterdam as well as the possibility of working as a freelancer in Düsseldorf (everything about the contract of the Düsseldorf branch). Rental start February. Unfortunately, in February we were faced with closed doors and the shell of the building. When we were back in Düsseldorf in mid-March and wanted to visit the Kö to see the construction progress, we were amazed that they were open, but we hadn't received any email, information, phone call, invoice, etc. We noticed that on site too. Since a larger office now made sense for us, we had several larger offices shown to us, but agreed to clarify the matter beforehand. Unfortunately, there was no apology. Instead, at the beginning of April, we received two invoices for April, as well as a note that we had been informed by email and had been sent to my voicemail (I haven't had a voicemail for years). Since they couldn't/didn't want to clarify the matter, we resigned because we didn't have the basis for a serious collaboration. We also weren't able to use the service for a day and our concerns weren't responded to for weeks. In the spirit of an improvement, we offered that the contract could be reinstated if it was clarified. It took until mid-June until we received qualified feedback. The email about the opening was sent to us from an info@ address unknown to us (although we had specific contacts and communicated with them via email), the invoice was for a different period than stated on it, but was otherwise correct and payable. What we as business people don't understand: Mindspace apologizes for it and is "sorry about how it all turned out" but unfortunately has no interest in clarifying the matter, insists on payment, loses a customer and on top of that we almost get a complaint from the accounting department Three months now without a response and an invoice correction without comment. Three months have to be paid. For nothing! Mindspace made sense in theory, but in practice the business practices don't work for us and our Düsseldorf partners. There are teething problems everywhere - such as the very dirty sanitary facilities on our only visit - but whether concepts exist depends on how you deal with them. We are very disappointed and advise against Mindspace. Fortunately, there are reputable alternatives.
